Melissa Knight is the Director of HR and Risk Management for Pitkin County, Colorado, where she oversees HR operations, benefits, communications and organizational risk management. She began her career as a bilingual elementary school teacher before transitioning into HR, earning a master’s degree in organizational performance and change from Colorado State University to support the shift.
